Questions about switching from IBM Aspera.

Is RIPTON CLOUD compatible with Aspera clients or servers?

No. They are different protocols. Moving from Aspera means deploying RIPTON nodes and clients on both ends of each route; the evaluation covers that migration.

Is RIPTON CLOUD faster than Aspera?

We do not publish a multiple against Aspera. RIPTON's published benchmark is against a TCP baseline on a documented impaired path. The honest comparison is a proof of concept on your route with both products, which we will help you run.

Does RIPTON CLOUD have Aspera's certifications?

Not today. RIPTON CLOUD publishes its cryptographic design and audit-grade logging for review; formal certifications are on the roadmap and will be listed on the security page when obtained.

What does switching cost?

Nodes on each site, RIPTON Desktop on operator workstations, and recipients using browser links. There is no per-TB licence, and external recipients are free.
