Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 17, 2026. This policy explains how RIPTON CLOUD handles information submitted through the website, checkout, and early access program.

1. Information we collect

  • Contact information, such as your name, work email address, phone number, company or role when provided, and any description or message you send us.
  • Early access and evaluation information, such as what you move, where files move from and to, current transfer tools, current transfer time, workload type, and other details you choose to provide.
  • Website usage information, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser information, referring pages, and interaction events collected through analytics tools.
  • Scheduling information if you book a call, such as meeting time, contact details, and answers submitted through a scheduling form.
  • Purchase information, such as billing contact details, billing address, business tax ID, selected plan, and Stripe customer, subscription, transaction, and invoice references. Stripe collects payment-card details directly; RIPTON CLOUD does not receive or store full card numbers.

2. How we use information

  • To respond to inquiries and manage early access requests.
  • To evaluate whether RIPTON CLOUD is likely to help with a transfer workflow.
  • To schedule technical demos, setup calls, and product evaluations.
  • To process purchases, calculate tax, provide invoices, fulfil licences, and maintain billing records.
  • To improve the website, messaging, benchmark presentation, and product experience.
  • To send product updates, early access invitations, and relevant technical communications only when you separately request them or provide consent. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time.
  • To protect the website, prevent abuse, debug issues, and comply with legal obligations.

3. What not to submit

Do not submit confidential files, credentials, secrets, regulated data, export-controlled data, or sensitive personal information through website forms. If an evaluation requires sensitive or regulated data, contact RIPTON CLOUD first so the right process can be agreed.

4. How we share information

RIPTON CLOUD does not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate the website, process payments and tax, provide invoices, manage email, host analytics, schedule calls, and communicate with customers. These providers include Stripe for checkout, billing, tax, and invoice processing. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transaction such as a merger, financing, or acquisition.

5. Analytics and cookies

The website uses Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Analytics to understand traffic, page performance, and conversion behavior. Google Analytics runs with IP anonymization, and in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland its analytics storage is off by default until you consent. We use session storage to remember the initial public landing page, referring website and campaign labels, with a 30-minute attribution window, so an inquiry can be associated with its source. This attribution does not store your form answers or search terms in browser storage. A local browser preference can exclude internal testing from analytics. Conversion analytics use page and event categories, not your name, email, phone number or message. Browser storage or similar technologies may also be used where necessary for site operation or security. You can configure your browser to block cookies or similar technologies, though some features may not work as intended.

6. Data retention

RIPTON CLOUD keeps information for as long as reasonably needed to manage early access, respond to inquiries, fulfil licences, maintain billing and tax records, improve the service, and comply with legal obligations. You can ask us to delete contact information that is no longer needed, subject to legal and operational requirements.

7. Security

RIPTON CLOUD uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information submitted through the website. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure, and you should avoid submitting sensitive data through general website forms.

8. International users

Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where RIPTON CLOUD or its service providers operate. Those locations may have data protection laws different from the laws in your jurisdiction.

9. Your choices

You may request access, correction, deletion, or opt-out from marketing communications by contacting hello@riptoncloud.com. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.

10. Children

The website and early access program are intended for business and professional users. They are not directed to children under 13, and RIPTON CLOUD does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes

RIPTON CLOUD may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
